Paula Solorio 

Partner

Paula Solorio has practiced immigration law since 1992. She is a certified specialist in immigration and nationality law with the State Bar of California.  She has handled innumerable complex family-related, naturalization, and removal defense matters, including reported decisions from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  She has advised clients and criminal counsel concerning post-conviction relief. 

 

During her career, Paula has volunteered with the San Francisco Immigration Court’s Attorney of the Day program, the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights, La Raza Centro Legal and the American Immigration Lawyers Association – Northern California Chapter.  The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) and the East Bay Sanctuary Covenant have honored her for her legal advocacy.

 

Paula was born in Hollister, California. She attended Stanford University for both her undergraduate degree and juris doctorate. She was admitted to the California Bar in 1991. She first practiced law with Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe, before changing her focus to immigration law.  She is fluent in English and Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor swimming, birdwatching, hiking,  yoga and travel with her daughter Jovita.
