Partner

Emma Gallardo joined Fellom & Solorio in the fall of 2015, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to social justice. Prior to joining the firm, she honed her legal skills while working for a solo practitioner in Sacramento. Emma earned her law degree from the University of California, Davis, and completed her undergraduate studies at Mills College. She is licensed by the State Bar of California.

As a third-generation Mexican-American/Chicana, Emma's dedication to immigration law is rooted in her family's history. Her mother and grandparents worked as migrant farmworkers frequently experiencing discrimination and prejudice. Raised in San Jose and Seattle, Emma's upbringing instilled in her a profound sense of empathy and a dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of those facing similar challenges.

Emma is known for her compassionate approach and creative problem-solving. Her practice areas include family-based consular processing, naturalization, U visas, adjustment of status, waivers, removal defense, DACA, and TPS. Whether reuniting families, securing legal status, or defending against removal, Emma is driven by her passion for justice and her desire to make a positive impact in the lives of her clients. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and daughter.
